This new site offers information on the forthcoming 70th anniversary concert, taking place in Chichester on 26th October 2013, commemorating the women’s vocal orchestra which was created in Palembang, Sumatra in 1943.

In addition to details of this concert, this site also chronicles the history of the original vocal orchestra, and of women’s internment by the Japanese in general, as well as providing educational materials for teachers and other interested parties.
